Xiaomi 12S series announced with big upgrades

All of the Xiaomi 12S models have the Leica name on them by default. So, Leica Summicron lenses and Leica imaging profiles are built into these phones. Users can choose between Leica Authentic Look and Leica Vibrant Look, just like with the 12S Ultra. They can now also take RAW images with 10 bits.

The rest of the hardware of the camera stays the same. The main camera on the Xiaomi 12S Pro still uses a 50MP Sony IMX707 sensor. Aside from this, the Xiaomi 12S models also use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which promises to save 30 percent more power and improve performance by 10 percent.

The rest of the features are the same. The Xiaomi 12S Pro is still the only phone in the lineup that can be charged with both a wired 120W charger and a wireless 50W charger. The same 6.7-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED screen with a variable refresh rate of 120Hz is still used for the screen.
