Samsung Galaxy S24 may Launch Early with Iphone-Like Titanium Body

Samsung Galaxy S24

Smartphone manufacturers are preparing for early 2024 launches of their flagship products as 2023 winds down. The OnePlus 12 and iQOO 12 are slated to launch in India early next year, while Samsung will release the Galaxy S24 flagship series with three models: normal, Plus, and Ultra. The Samsung Galaxy S24 may have a brighter display, better battery, and other enhancements, according to leaks.

Samsung is reportedly aiming to launch its next S-series flagship phones sooner than usual due to semiconductor business issues. The Galaxy S24 series is slated to launch in January, and Samsung will shortly reveal event details.

Despite no official announcement, Samsung Galaxy S24 speculations are increasing enthusiasm, with many expecting big improvements and advancements. Here’s everything to expect:

Samsung Galaxy S24 predicted release date

SBS Biz reports that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S24 on January 17th in San Francisco. The article claims the S24 series will be the company’s first phone using generative AI.

Samsung Galaxy S24 expected specs and features

Despite Samsung’s silence, the Galaxy S24 series is already generating buzz for its projected advancements.

Display

The Galaxy S24+ may be larger and thinner than its predecessor and have a 6.65-inch display, while the Galaxy S24 may have a 6.1-inch screen.

The Galaxy S24’s display is still a major focus, with reports suggesting that the standard model will have 2,500 nits, making it one of the brightest smartphones on the market, surpassing the Pixel 8 Pro in India and the Oppo Find X6 Pro.

An LTPO display will allow the Galaxy S24 to adapt its refresh rate from 48Hz to 120Hz depending on the content, conserving battery life and improving user experience.

Rear Camera Setup

The Galaxy S24 is believed to preserve the Galaxy S23 series’ flat-screen design and a rear camera configuration with three sensors incorporated into the back panel without a module.

Battery Upgrade

Galaxy S24 is rumoured to contain a 4,000mAh battery, up from 3,700mAh and 3,900mAh in the S22 and S23. Due to its somewhat smaller form factor, the standard model can fit a larger battery without taking up too much space.

Processor

Most global markets will use Samsung’s Exynos CPUs for the Galaxy S24 and S24+, while the Indian edition and Galaxy S24 Ultra will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This differs from the Galaxy S23 range, which used Snapdragon chips worldwide.

Samsung’s Exynos 2400 processor, used in limited locations, has a 30% faster GPU, 70% faster CPU, and 14.7x faster NPU than the previous iteration. Text-to-image conversion is possible with on-device AI processing.

AI and software

The Galaxy S24, Samsung’s next flagship smartphone, will likely have Android 14 and OneUI 6.1. The new virtual assistant may be more powerful than Bixby, among other AI features. Samsung has actively invested in AI development, and the Galaxy S24 series should reflect that.

AI features, a better camera, and a sleeker design are expected in the Galaxy S24 series. Users of earlier Galaxy S smartphones will recognise it. Samsung’s first “Generative AI” smartphone, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, may get the biggest AI enhancements.

Design and colour choices

The Galaxy S24 may sport a titanium frame like the iPhone 15 Pro for a more premium and robust look. The display should feature 40% thinner bezels than the Galaxy S23 Ultra, giving it a symmetrical and elegant look. For a cleaner look, the front camera hole-punch cutout may be reduced and relocated. The smartphone will come in colourful black, grey, violet, yellow, green, blue, and orange.
