The biggest mistake I made was to change my mind in the middle. When I wrote the main passage, I thought I could get enough attention on the other side of the movement. I lost time by having to delete and rewrite. Even if it takes a lot of time, be clear about what your position is so that you can spend the rest of your time building up your content. We’ll never be able to practice all possible essay questions or choose our topics, but we can usually come up with a framework for how the paper could be written. A paper with a wide range of jargon is a clear winner. Don’t try to force words that don’t fit. Just throw in a few words to make your paper look great, and that’s pretty much it.
