Samsung Galaxy A-Series Phones Have Flagship-Level Camera

Galaxy A-Series

The Galaxy A-series phones have always been in the middle between the more expensive Galaxy S-series phones and the cheaper Galaxy M-series phones. It is also the series that strikes a good balance between price, features, and performance.

Take the Galaxy A73 and Galaxy A53 as an example. Both have a premium design and some of the best features in their class, especially the cameras.

Both the Galaxy A73 5G and the Galaxy A53 5G have cameras that are as good as those in flagship phones. For example, both phones have VDIS as well as Optical Image Stabilization. Aside from that, the Galaxy A73 5G has a primary sensor with 108MP, which is the same sensor found in the company’s most expensive phone, the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

These phones also have a lot of hardware and software features that are usually found in the flagship phones of the company. Samsung’s A-series phones, like the Galaxy A73 and Galaxy A53, now have a camera system that is based on AI.

Real-Time Scene Optimisation

Samsung says that the AI system in their Galaxy A series phones can look at the scene and suggest the best settings for that shot. Scene Optimiser is the name of this feature, which lets you choose from different modes to get the best shot for any situation.

Evening Mode

Besides that, the Galaxy A-series phones have a Night mode that turns on automatically when the camera sees that it’s dark. This makes it easier for smartphones to work in low light.

AI Document Segmentation

It is another feature that makes it easier to scan documents without having to download any extra software. Both the Galaxy A73 and the Galaxy A53 have this feature built right into their cameras. AI Document Segmentation can tell the difference between the document you’re trying to scan and the background, even if the document isn’t lying flat.

Single Take

Single Take is Samsung’s answer to the problem of how to take photos and videos all in one place. With one click, the mode automatically takes different kinds of shots, like videos, boomerangs, etc.

According to the company, the AI behind the lens understands what is going on in the scene, finding Peak Moments and Motion Triggers and capturing the best photos and videos in an instant. This can then be used to collect content that can be shared, such as Black-and-White photos and Boomerangs for social media and other places.

Auto Framing

As the name suggests, the camera automatically figures out how many people are in the picture and switches to an ultra-wide lens or a wide mode to fit everyone in. It can be used by up to 5 people.

AI-Based Features That Improve Details

Samsung has also added features like Detail Enhancer, AI-Upscaling, Remastering images, AI-Deblur, AI Upscaling, Object Eraser, AI HDR, etc. to improve the quality of the camera and the user experience overall.
