Samsung Electronics announced today that Odyssey Ark, the world’s first 55-inch 1000R curved gaming screen, is now available everywhere. This adds a completely new shape to the Odyssey line, which is already the best in its field. The huge display has a refresh rate of 165Hz, a response time (GtG) of 1ms, a brand-new mode called Cockpit Mode, and an exclusive controller called the Ark Dial. The 1000R curvature of the 55-inch screen makes it wrap around the user’s field of view, filling their peripheral vision. This is made clearer by Cockpit Mode, which lets the screen rotate with HAS (Height Adjustable Stand), tilt, and pivot for an optimal screen environment that creates a new feeling of being immersed in multiple worlds.
Samsung’s Quantum Matrix Technology is used in the Odyssey Ark. It uses Quantum Mini LEDs, which allow the LEDs to be controlled in a very fine and precise way. The Odyssey Ark’s “Sound Dome Tech,” which includes AI Sound Booster and Dolby Atmos to improve the surround sound experience, makes for great sound. A 60W 2.2.2 channel with the lowest 45Hz notes of any gaming screen or gaming soundbar makes for a realistic and rich sound.

Flexible interface to find the best settings for victory

The Odyssey Ark has a lot of cool features that let gamers change the size, position, and even aspect ratio of their screens for the best gaming setup. First, the Odyssey Ark’s only controller, the Ark Dial, which is powered by the sun, can quickly and easily change settings like the Flex Move Screen, MultiView, Quick Settings, and Game Bar.
Users can change the screen size from 55 inches to 27 inches, move the screen, and change the screen ratio between 16:9, 21:9, and 32:9 with just one touch of the Ark Dial. This freedom applies not only to the horizontal position but also to the vertical one, giving users even more control over how they watch.
