Asus will release the highly awaited ROG Flow X13 2-in-1 gaming laptop in India on May 12th. The AMD-powered laptop was first unveiled alongside AMD’s XG Mobile external GPU at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021 as part of the company’s gaming portfolio.

Asus is planning to launch a luxury laptop on May 12, according to a source close to the situation.The laptop model is now reported to be the ROG Flow X13, an ultraportable gaming laptop, according to the same article. The laptop combines a gaming laptop with a compact and lightweight 2-in-1 chassis with a 360-degree touchscreen that can be flipped.

The Flow X13 made its global debut in January 2021, so it already has some functionality. It’s a 13-inch gaming laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS (top variant) mobile processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card. Asus announced at CES that this model would use AMD’s top binned CPUs to ensure “best quality silicon” for efficient performance.

Touch and stylus input are available on the 13.3-inch touchscreen, which has a 16:10 aspect ratio. The global version has a 1080p (Full HD) 120Hz or a 4K 60Hz display with adaptive sync support, which is most likely the case in India. Corning Gorilla Glass is also used to secure the show in the future.

The design’s most notable feature is its ability to rotate 360 degrees, allowing you to use it as both a laptop and a tablet. Another big selling point is its battery, which is said to last up to 18 hours, with 10 hours of continuous video playback anticipated. It includes a 100 W USB Type-C PD charger that claims to charge from 0% to 60% in 39 minutes.

In the United States, Asus provides two versions of the ROG Flow X13 laptop: one with the 5900HS and a 120Hz, 1,920×1,200-pixel display, and the other with a 5980HS-based “Supernova” version with a 3,840×2,400, 60Hz panel. Both models come with XG Mobile and cost $3300 (roughly Rs 2,44,475) for Supernova and $2800 (roughly Rs 2,07,434) for the regular edition. It can also be purchased separately (without XG Mobile) for $1500. (approx Rs 1,11,125).
