Google Pixel 8 Pro

Pixel 8 Pro

In the latter half of this year, Google is planning to release its flagship Pixel smartphone series, which will include the Pixel 8 and the Google Pixel 8 Pro. There have been rumours about the Pixel 8 series, but the specifics are still lacking, and we haven’t even caught a glimpse of what the phones might look like. There have been leaks and reports. This exposes the whole design of the phone and also demonstrates how it may be used as a thermometer in addition to its other functions.

Google Pixel 8 Pro design details

The front-facing camera of the Pixel 8 Pro appears to have a punch hole design similar to that of the Pixel 7 Pro. There are three cameras located on the back of the device, but this time around, Google has combined all three sensors into a single pill-shaped module. The rear of the Pixel 7 Pro houses three cameras: two that are combined into one and one that is distinct. The aluminium frame that encases the camera module appears to be identical to the one found on the Pixel 7 Pro.

Thermometer functionality is built into the Google Pixel 8 Pro

A new sensor has been added directly below the LED flash, which is one of the things that sets it apart from previous models. This specialised infrared thermometer sensor will be used to determine the temperature of your body in order to provide an accurate reading. This sensor is quite comparable to what is used in the vast majority of contactless thermometers. First, you’ll need to find the white sensor, and then you’ll need to ensure that neither your skin nor your forehead have any gadgets on them. Then you will need to position the sensor on the Pixel 8 Pro so that it is as close to your forehead as possible without actually making contact with your skin. After that, you can press the start button on the phone, and then during the next five seconds, you should move the phone towards your temple. Following completion of the temperature reading, the phone will vibrate, and you will be able to view the results.

Because only the Pixel 8 Pro has the necessary sensor, the built-in thermometer will only be available on the Pixel 8 Pro. The Pixel 8 Pro will have the capability to measure the temperature of objects in addition to being able to measure the temperature of the human body. The information that is gathered will be kept in a local storage facility, and the Android Private Compute Core will be responsible for managing it. Additionally, Google employees have already begun testing this new capability.
