Apple, headquartered in Cupertino, is rumoured to be developing a foldable iPad, which could be released shortly. The new report confirms previous rumours that Apple is developing a foldable iPad. Apple is considering incorporating foldable technology into tablets following its work on foldable smartphones. Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple expert, had previously predicted that the device could be released in 2024. Other industry experts, including Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and Display Supply Chain Consultants’ CEO Ross Young, were unaware of the existence of this product. According to Kuo, the folded iPad would have a brand-new design and a carbon fibre support that is both lightweight and durable.

In related news, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the lower-end iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models releasing later this year will feature a 48MP rear camera lens with a novel stacked sensor design capable of capturing more light.

According to the expert, Apple resolved the issues with its new camera sensor by collaborating with its supplier, Sony, which then increased production to satisfy Apple’s demands. Due to this, Android manufacturers experienced a significant decrease in supply.

Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max were the first to feature a 48-megapixel camera lens in 2017. This lens enables users to capture 48MP ProRAW images with greater detail and more editing options. Comparatively, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus from the same year featured a 12-megapixel camera lens.
