  4. The Ukraine stated that Russian forces had fired shells all along the lines and that 16 settlements had been attacked in the area of Bakhmut.
  5. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, issued the following statement: “Thank you to each and every one of our soldiers who are stopping the occupiers from surrounding Bakhmut and who are holding our vital positions at the front.”

Reuters stated that training of Ukrainian military on the Leopard 2 and other modern combat tanks is currently taking place in numerous European countries, including Poland, Britain, and Germany.
