Xiaomi’s new phone, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, can be folded in half. The design of the new Xiaomi foldable phone has been changed in a big way. It also gets updated specifications that are at the top of the line. Xiaomi released the MIX Fold 2 in China one day after Samsung released the Galaxy Z Fold 4 everywhere else in the world. The screen on the MIX Fold 2 is bigger than the screen on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 5G. It is also thinner than the new foldable phone from Samsung.

The Price and Specification for the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2
Xiaomi released the MIX Fold 2 in China with three options for how much storage it has. The base model has 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 12GB of RAM. It will cost you CNY 8999. (roughly Rs 1,06,200). The 12GB + 512GB and 12GB + 1TB storage options cost CNY 9999 about equivalent to 18,000 Indian Rupees) and 11,999 Chinese Yuan, respectively (roughly Rs 1,41,700). It comes in both Black and Gold as an option.
No one knows if the MIX Fold 2 will be sold in countries other than China. The company is likely to confirm the information soon.
On the back of Xiaomi’s new MIX series foldable phone, there are three cameras. It says “Leica” at the top right, which means that the camera’s color tuning was done with the help of Leica, which is a well-known camera maker. It has a main camera with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera that can zoom by 2x.
The phone has a foldable ECO OLED screen that is 8.02-inches wide and has a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its brightest point is 1300 nits. The outside AMOLED screen is 6.56 inches tall and has a resolution of Full HD+. It also has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a brightness of 1000 nits. The MIX Fold 2 also has a 20MP camera on the front.
When folded, the MIX Fold 2 is 5.4mm long and it is 11.4mm long. At 262 grams, it is also a little bit lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Even though the MIX Fold 2 has a bigger 4500 mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging right out of the box, this is still the case. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is in the phone that you can fold. It has two speakers and haptic motors on the X-axis. Last, the MIX Fold 2 comes with MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12.
