Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro could be the next wireless audio device from Samsung. It would add to a line of earbuds that work well with Samsung smartphones.
Even though we haven’t heard many rumors about the Galaxy Buds Pro 2, a few tips suggest that the follow-up to the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is in the works and will be released soon. We could even see them at a Samsung Unpacked event in August 2022, along with new foldable and smartwatches. This event, which is now likely to happen on August 10, is where we could see them. The report says that it is likely that Buds2 Pro will be available to buy starting on August 26.

Galaxy Buds 2 Pro has a leaked specs sheet showing that the headphones have 10mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and multiple microphones on each earbud for the best voice pickup and noise cancellation. Samsung is expected to add “Intelligent Active Noise Cancellation” to the Buds2 Pro, which should block out even more outside noise than older Galaxy Buds models.
Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is also said to have HD voice pickup for clearer calls and 360-degree audio for a more immersive experience in apps that support it. The source also says that the new Galaxy Buds Pro has an IPX7 rating, just like the original Galaxy Buds Pro, which means they can be submerged in water up to 1 meter high for 30 minutes. On a single charge, the battery life is said to be 8 hours, and with the charging case, it can last up to 29 hours. The case will be able to charge both through its USB-C port and wirelessly.
Galaxy Buds 2 Pro Price
The prices for Samsung’s earbuds have always seemed fair. The Galaxy Buds Pro, whose name makes them sound like Samsung’s best earbuds, cost $199 at first. The Galaxy Buds 2 are a step-down and cost $149. However, you can often find all Samsung earbuds on sale for less.
Samsung may keep the price of the second-generation Galaxy Buds Pro the same as the price of the first-generation model. One source, though, says that Samsung could raise the price of the Buds Pro 2 to $230.
Galaxy Buds 2 Pro design
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro looked a lot like the original Galaxy Buds, but they were a little bit rounder and came in some new colors. On the other hand, the Galaxy Buds 2 are smaller, and the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live look a bit like beans.
Samsung will probably make some changes to the design of the Galaxy Buds Pro 2, like making them smaller than before, but not as small as the Galaxy Buds 2.
At the very least, it looks like we’ll have a choice of colors. claims that there will be three colors for the Galaxy Buds Pro 2: Zenith White, Zenith Bora Purple, and Zenith Graphite.
Galaxy Buds 2 Pro outlook
Samsung’s wireless earbuds are always good, but they aren’t always great like AirPods, Bose, or Sony earbuds are usually. Even though the Galaxy Buds don’t have the best sound quality in their class, their fair price makes them still appealing.
The AirPods Pro 2 and the Google Pixel Buds will be tough competitors when they come out. But if the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2 get improvements everywhere, they’ll be a fun pair of headphones.
