Best sound for wireless earbuds on a budget. The Earfun Air Pro SV have several advantages. First and foremost, they sound astonishingly good for a pair of earbuds in this price range. They have a large, open sound with well-defined bass and excellent clarity. They’re also lightweight and comfortable to wear, have effective noise cancellation, and a fairly natural-sounding transparency mode that allows ambient sound in if you need to hear what’s going on around you for safety reasons.
Earfun emphasizes how the buds’ squared-off stems can be seen through the case (there’s a small window), but aside from the stems, the buds themselves have a similar shape and design to the AirPods Pro. While the case supports wireless charging, the buds lack a sensor that pauses music when you remove them from your ears (you can use a single bud if you prefer) and resumes playback when you replace them. They’re splash-proof to IPX5, and the battery life is rated at 6 hours with noise cancellation turned on. There’s also a low-latency gaming mode and touch controls that work reasonably well, and a companion app for iOS and Android allows you to upgrade the buds’ firmware and tweak sound settings.
Earfun advertises them as having “six professional mics for a stunning call experience.” While they do work well for calls, I was a little disappointed with how well they cut out background noise using them in New York City’s streets. The best wireless sports earbuds for daily use. Following the release of the third-generation AirPods, Apple has released another set of earbuds from its subsidiary audio company, Beats. The new Beats Fit Pro ($200) aren’t technically AirPods, but they’re built on the same tech platform as the AirPods Pro. Unlike Beats’ earlier and less expensive Studio Buds, the Beats Fit Pro includes Apple’s H1 chip and most of the features of the AirPods Pro, such as active noise cancellation, spatial audio, and Adaptive EQ. I would even say that these are the AirPods for sports that you’ve always wanted. And they may be preferable to the AirPods Pro for some. And the price is 180$.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro
The best wireless earbuds from Samsung. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro provides improved noise cancellation as well as very good sound and voice-calling performance, as well as support for high-resolution wireless audio streaming if you own a Galaxy device with the appropriate setup. The Apple AirPods Pro is still a great pair of truly wireless earphones, even though they’ve been out for a while, and the AirPods Pro 2 is expected in 2022. This is due in large part to their winning design and fit, good sound, effective noise cancellation and spatial audio, and a virtual-sound mode for watching movies and TV shows. Google Pixel Buds Pro
Outstanding wireless earbuds for Android users. Google’s Pixel Buds Pro is the company’s first earbuds with active noise cancellation. While it’s great that they finally have a feature that many true-wireless earbuds have had for a while, what ultimately distinguishes the Pixel Buds Pro and makes them worth considering – especially for Android users – is their distinct design and winning fit. This improves their performance in terms of both sound quality and noise cancellation. While not quite as good for voice calls, they worked well as a headset for making calls. A few features are missing at launch, including spatial audio and a five-band equalizer, but Google says they will be available later in 2022. And the price is $200.
Earfun Air Pro 2
Wireless earbuds at an excellent price. The Earfun Air Pro 2 not only has good active noise cancellation, but it also has good sound for its price, with overall well-balanced sound, decent clarity, and solid bass performance. Some of Earfun’s buds have had too much treble push, which is also called “presence boost,” but these don’t have that problem. They do have a better sound than the original Air Pro.
The earbuds have some unique features, such as an ear-detection sensor (your music stops when you remove the buds from your ears) and a case with USB-C and wireless charging, which you don’t often find at this price. They have Bluetooth 5.2, an IPX5 rating, and can last up to seven hours on a single charge at moderate volume levels, though you’ll probably get closer to six hours with noise canceling on.
There is also a transparency mode that allows ambient sound to pass through. It sounds pretty natural and is closer to the excellent transparency mode of the AirPods Pro than I expected. Unfortunately, no companion app allows you to customize the sound or upgrade the firmware.
Earfun touts the Air Pro 2’s voice calling capabilities (three microphones in each earbud), and while call quality was good, these didn’t reduce background noise as well as the new Soundpeats T3, which are also worth the $40 price. While the Soundpeats T3 is superior for calls, the Earfun Air Pro 2’s noise-canceling and transparency modes are superior, and the Soundpeats lack an ear-detection sensor. Furthermore, the Earfun Air Pro 2 buds have a richer, more dynamic sound. and the price is $72.
AirPods 3rd Generation
The very best open wireless earbuds. The third-generation AirPods ($179) look quite similar to the AirPods Pro, save for the ear tips. You would not be mistaken. While they are not identical twins, the AirPods 3 are shaped similarly to the AirPods Pro, with the same shorter stems and pinch controls. Aside from the design change, which should fit most ears better than the AirPods 2nd Generation (though not very small ears), the biggest difference is the sound quality, which has been greatly improved. The battery life is also improved, and the AirPods 3 are now officially water-resistant. and the price is $170.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2
The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 is available in four color options and is more similar to the newer Galaxy Buds Pro and Galaxy Buds Live, both of which have eye-catching This new model has the same sleek, curved shapes and small charging case. That means that all of the latest Galaxy Buds models now have some form of active noise canceling, though the difference is minor with the Buds Live, which has an open design without ear tips. While the Buds 2 appear to be shrunken versions of the Buds Pro, I found them to be more like the Buds Live in that they barely stick out of your ears and are relatively discreet. They pick up less wind noise because they sit more flush with your ears and have that curved design. and the price is $130.
